DSPE-PEG-Rhodamine, MW 1,000 is a PEG lipid attached with red fluorescent. Rhodamine has maximum absorption at 570 nm and emission around 595 nm and can be easily traced using an imaging technique. The PEG-phospholipid spontaneously self ass-assembles to form lipid bilayer in water and can be used to prepare liposom for drug delivery application, such as mRNA vaccine.
